Batting first, Blizzards lost Leona Babirye in the first ball of the match off Evelyn Anyipo. Jeniffer Nabwana was the next one to go before Janet Mbabazi followed suit leaving Blizzards at 17 for 3 in seven overs. Anayo then dismissed Stephanie Nampima and Franklyn Najjumba in the same over to break the oppositions’ backbone.

None of the batters could reach double digits. Anayo finished with figures 4-2-12-4 and was ably supported by Evelyn Anyipo (1/5), Immaculate Nakisuyi (1/7) and Teddy Ayella (1/5).
In reply, just took 7.3 overs to overhaul the target without losing a wicket. Rachael Ntono was not out at 24 while Shakira Saddick remained unbeaten at six.
