The 18-year-old Brown was selected in the Australian squad after a stellar performance in her sixth edition of WBBL. She made her international debut against New Zealand in March 2021 and earned her maiden national contract in April 2021.
Speaking from Adelaide Oval, ahead of their ‘Eliminator’ against Brisbane Heat, Brown reflected on her decision. “I’ve been a big supporter of the Strikers ever since the BBL started, so (to) be able to sign on is pretty cool; I have had so much fun the last few years. I’ve loved every minute of being a part of the Strikers and I can’t wait for more.”
