recommended for the award by the BCCI in June. “Now, the responsibility to perform even better has increased. I will try my best to fulfill the expectations. I am thankful to BCCI for nominating me for the prestigious award,” the 24-year-old had earlier said.

Last year, 28-year-old Poonam Yadav, also from Agra was conferred Arjuna award.
