It was a disastrous start for India Green as they lost 4 wickets for 6 runs before the end of the powerplay. Rodrigues poor form with the bat continued as the India international got out for 1 to Pandey. Nothing went well for the Green batters as none of the batters except Sajana and Prathyusha reached the double figures.

Pratyusha top-scored for them with 14 while Sajana scored 11. Reenalaxmi Ekka picked up 3 wickets and effected a run out while Shikha Pandey scalped 2 wickets for India Red. India Green registered back to back low scores of 46 from yesterday to 51 today.

It looked an easy chase for the Red batters and they didn't disappoint. After losing their skipper Deepti Sharma early in the innings, Punam Raut and Harleen Deol stitched an unbeaten 43 runs partnership to take India Red home. Raut scored 26 off 25 hitting 5 fours while Deol reached 24 off 29 with the help of 4 fours.
