Daffara who looked in good touch and had smashed five fours became Cheatle's only wicket of the day as Hurricanes were 54-3 in 7 overs.
Heather Knight has been in supreme form in Australia and continued the same. The England captain smashed an unbeaten 43 before rain interrupted the game as Hurricanes reached 112-4 in 14 overs. After a 45 minutes delay, the match got reduced to 15 overs a side. Heather Knight and Sasha Moloney scored 21 runs of the only over Hurricanes faced after the rain break and put 133-5 on the board with Knight scoring an unbeaten 51.
The Sydney Sixers were set a target of 152 after DLS was taken into consideration. Sixers lost their openers Healy and Perry early as the both of them added 18. After a 20-ball-43 with 5 fours and 2 sixes, Burns lost her wicket to Hepburn - a point when Sixers had victory in their bags.
