Salliann Briggs, the Head Coach of the Hurricanes, said, "We're very happy to have Stef, Kate and Meg in purple for another season of the WBBL. The three of them are highly talented cricketers who have worked incredibly hard over the summer and they'll continue to only improve."
Daffara was all excited about this, said, "I'm hoping to learn from and build on what I was able to do last season and play an entertaining brand of cricket for the Hurricanes. For now I'm focused on preparations for Round 2 of the WNCL but I can't wait to pull on the purple again, particularly in Burnie where I visited as part of the MyState Blitz."
"A large part of the squad has been training hard as Tigers and it will be fun to transfer that to the Hurricanes," said Kate Fryett. "We've just been lucky enough to travel around the state and the support for the Hurricanes has been awesome, I'm looking forward to getting back up to Launceston as well as the games in Burnie which are really exciting."
Meg Phillips too shared her views quoting, "The WBBL competition is getting bigger and bigger so it's really exciting to be involved again," "I always love putting on the purple and can't wait for the season to start in December."
The Hurricanes will start their campaign against Perth Scorchers on December 1 at Junction Oval, Melbourne.
