Supernovas sneak past Velocity in last ball thriller to win T20 Challenge

After a resounding success of the Women's T20 Challenge in the 2018 and 2019 editions, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced on Saturday, (February 29) that this year too Jaipur will host all the seven matches during the IPL Play-off week.



In addition to that, a fourth team will also be there vying to top honours and many international players are expected to be part of the tournament which is going to take place at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium.



In the 2019 edition fans thronged to the stadium, and were treated by some fantastic cricket by the three teams. The final between Supernovas and Velocity was an absolute nail-biter with the former winning the match by four wickets in a last-ball thriller. Supernovas had won the inaugural edition in 2018 one.



Exciting young talents such as Shafali Verma and Radha Yadav have emerged from Women's T20 challenge. This year also the tournament gives a great platform for the upcoming youngsters go showcase their talents at the big stage and rub shoulders with some of best in the business.
