Among the clashes in Group A and B, Karnataka’s G Divya made a 90 and with Rakshitha K’s 52 to help, the team posted three for 218 – the highest score in the day. Tripura in reply were no match, as they were kept to nine for 120, with Akanksha Kohli picking up three wickets.
PG Kahlon picked up six wickets giving just 24 runs as Himachal Pradesh bowled Baroda out for just 107. Earlier, Sushma Verma’s 45 had seen Himachal Pradesh post 196 for the loss of nine wickets.
In Group C, Salonee Dangore’s five-wicket haul for Madhya Pradesh stood out. Uttarakhand bore the brunt of it, being dismissed for 64. Madhya Pradesh overhauled the target with ease, cruising to a eight-wicket win.
In the Plate division, Sarla Devi’s fifer helped Jammu & Kashmir down Manipur by 76 runs. Meanwhile, Pondicherry continued their winning run by trouncing Sikkim.
