“In Nat and Katherine we’ve got two of England’s most successful cricketers who have been part of the WBBL since the tournament began,” said a delighted Trent Woodhill, the
head coach of Stars.
“We’re pleased to have Nat coming back into green again after a couple of seasons in Perth and Katherine’s experience and bowling pedigree need no introduction. It really enhances what is already a good team coming together.”
Brunt played 44 matches for Scorchers and has 49 wickets in the tournament. She returned with 23 wickets in WBBL03, joint-most with Sarah Aley in that edition.
“I’m pleased to have signed for the Stars. It’s a big club and has made some good signings this off-season which should hold us well for the season ahead,” said the 35-year-old.

Sciver, on the other hand, had a fruitful WBBL05, scoring 342 runs and picking up six wickets that helped Scorchers reach the
title-clash, departing for national duty before the final. She follows her then skipper, Meg Lanning, who also made the
move to Stars for this season.
Stars, thus, have what looks like a formidable line-up with the presence of
Mignon du Preez, Annabel Sutherland, Elyse Villani, Holly Ferling and Tess Flintoff, apart from Lanning, Brunt and Sciver.
Squad so far: Meg Lanning, Katherine Brunt, Nat Sciver, Elyse Villani, Mignon du Preez, Annabel Sutherland, Lucy Cripps, Alana King, Holly Ferling, Erin Osborne, Tess Flintoff, Georgia Gall, Sophie Day, Nicole Faltum
