Electing to bat first Karnataka scored 294 for 6 with Krishamurthy scoring 103 and S Shubha scoring 60. In reply, Tamil Nadu could score only 208 in 48.3 overs as Arshi Choudhary’s 96-run knock went in vain, while Shylaja Sundar scored 56. This was Karnataka’s third win from as many matches.

In another Group E match in Chennai, Delhi scored a mammoth total of 332 in a big 285-run win against Meghalaya with the help of Shweta Sehrawat’s 118 and an unbeaten 93-run knock from Neha Tanwar 93. Vidharbha is the other team to register win in Group E with a 25-run win against Himachal.

Elsewhere in Indore, Kerala and Madhya Pradesh registered wins against Punjab and Baroda respectively.

In Plate group matches in Bengaluru, Jammu & Kashmir, Mizoram and Bihar registered wins.
