Legend, game changer, role model: Tributes pour in for Sana Mir

On Saturday (April 25), former Pakistan skipper Sana Mir drew the curtain on her illustrious 15-year international career. She retires as one of only six women to have scored over 2000 runs and taken more than 200 wickets in international cricket – the only Pakistani on the list.
Mir’s illustrious career saw her lead Pakistan in 137 matches, including two ODI and five T20I World Cups.

Naturally, the announcement led to an outpouring of appreciation, love and support from the cricket community – each person celebrating Mir’s career and her impact on Pakistan cricket.
