Stars Head Coach David Hemp said, "It’s great to have two experienced players joining us who add value across all three areas of the game. Ange has performed and been a part of a winning team across the previous WBBL competitions whilst Nic joins us off the back of a very good WBBL|03."

"Elly is a young and upcoming talented all-rounder who has impressed in her first season with Victoria. With our list now finalised, the playing group provides plenty of options for the coaching staff and captain to consider.”

As they have announced the squad, they have chosen Erin Osborne as the vice-captain of the team. Osborne said, "I’m very happy to be named vice-captain of the Stars. I’m looking forward to working with Kristen Beams on building our culture and leading us into finals."

"We’re a close group and it’s a real credit to Beamsy and Hempy for getting the team together and getting them to gel so quickly. I’m really excited to be involved in that process now and I can’t wait to see where we can take this team."

The Stars will open their WBBL campaign on December 1 against Sydney Sixers.
