they host Australia in the series starting on March 28 on Thursday (February 4). The T20Is will now be played as double-headers along with the men’s matches against Bangladesh.
Earlier New Zealand were to host Australia in Hamilton for all the three T20Is. But now with Bangladesh men’s tour to the country beginning seven days later than originally scheduled, to allow the visiting team to have adequate preparation in light of the COVID-19 challenges, NZC decided to shift second and third T20I to Napier and Auckland with the dates for all three matches remaining the same.
The first match of the tour will be played at the Seddon Park in Hamilton as originally planned on March 28, while the teams will move to McLean Park and Eden Park respectively for the next two matches on March 30 and April 1. First T20I will be a day/night affair with a scheduled start of 7:10 PM local time after the completion of men’s match. The other two matches will be played at 3:00 PM local time ahead the men’s matches.
