Asia Cup 2024: all squads for the tournament

All the eight nations have announced their squads for the 2024 Women's Asia Cup. The ninth edition of the tournament will be played from July 19 to 28 on Sri Lankan soil in the T20 format, with all the matches being held in Dambulla.

All the eight nations have announced their squads for the 2024 Women's Asia Cup. The ninth edition of the tournament will be played from July 19 to 28 on Sri Lankan soil in the T20 format, with all the matches being held at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Dambulla. The tournament would offer the Asian teams a chance to experiment and prepare for the upcoming ICC Women's T20 World Cup in Bangladesh later this year.

The 2024 Women's Asia Cup comprises four full members of the Asian Cricket Council - India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. They are joined by Malaysia, Nepal, Thailand and United Arab Emirates from the 2024 ACC Women's Premier Cup. 

Eight teams have been divided in two groups of four, with India being placed with Nepal, Pakistan and UAE in Group A. India will play their first match against arch rivals Pakistan on July 19. They will then face UAE on July 21, followed by Nepal on July 23. Meanwhile, the home side Sri Lanka have been placed in Group B alongside Bangladesh, Malaysia and Thailand. The top two teams from both the groups will qualify for the semifinals.
