Asian Games in Hangzhou will have men's and women's cricket as a competition item and the women's event is all set to be played from September 19 to 25. Nine teams will participate in the tournament with Mongolia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong getting entry to the first round and full members India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh getting direct entry to the quarter finals along with Thailand.
