Nida Dar, Pakistan all-rounder, will miss the three-match T20I series against Bangladesh as she is playing for Sydney Thunder in the ongoing fifth edition of the Women's Big Bash League (WBBL) in Australia.



Urooj Mumtaz-led selection panel, which includes former Pakistan players Asmavia Iqbal and Marina Iqbal, announced the team for the T20I series, which will be followed by two ODIs will be played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, beginning October 26.



Aiman Anwar, Javeria Rauf, Nashra Sandhu, Rameen Shamim and Sidra Nawaz who all were part of T20I series against South Africa earlier this year have been dropped. Meanwhile, Anam Amin, Ayesha Zafar, Nahida Khan, Saba Nazir, Sadia Iqbal and Sidha Amin have been added. The team has been picked up based on the performance of the players during the recent training camp in Muridke.



The trio of Zafar, Nahida and Diana Baig last played T20Is for Pakistan in the World T20 in the Caribbean last year.



"We are delighted to host the Bangladesh team and look forward to an exciting series. It is the first international assignment for the team since the tour to South Africa in June. The team is a good blend of experience and young exciting players. With the women's game developing at a rapid pace, we aim to play a positive and aggressive brand of cricket and produce solid performances," Urooj Mumtaz, chief Selector, said.



"The primary focus will remain on winning as it will build confidence within the group, this is pivotal for us as we head into a busy international schedule over the next six months. During the series we would also like to give an opportunity to some emerging players, so that they can experience the aura around international cricket and its pressures."
