Australia and Brisbane Heat batter Beth Mooney revealed she has received many offers from various clubs for the sixth season of Women's Big Bash League scheduled to take place later this year. The stylish left-hander, whose contract with Brisbane Heat expired at the end of last season, said she is considering various options, but it will take an absolutely irresistible offer to force her to leave Heat. Although the contract window for the WBBL is yet to open, several franchises have already approached the top-ranked batter in an attempt to secure her services.

Over the last five seasons, Mooney has been one of Heat's most consistent batters scoring 2576 runs at an average of 45.19 in 75 matches. Quite incredibly, 743 of these runs came only last season when Heat successfully defended their title at home.

With the possibility that this season's WBBL will not feature overseas professionals, the services of a prolific batter like Mooney will be even more in demand. Whatever she chooses, the Queenslander admits it won't be an easy decision to make.

"That’s all I’ve got to think about at the moment," Mooney told reporters from her Brisbane home on Friday (April 24). "I’ve had a few really good offers from different clubs. I haven’t really got anywhere with a decision yet, but as I said at the end of the last Big Bash season, it would take a lot for me to not be playing at Brisbane. But there’s also plenty of opportunity out there to play with different people and under different coaches, so I’ll keep my options open and hopefully have a decision in the next couple of weeks."
