Sana Mir, Pakistan veteran off-spinner, on Wednesday announced that she will take a break from international cricket to plan her future objectives. Subsequently, she will miss the upcoming limited-overs series against England, which is scheduled between December 9 - 20 in Kuala Lumpur.

“I have decided to take a break from international cricket and, as such, will not be available for selection for next month’s series against England. I will utilise this time to plan and reset my future objectives and targets," Mir said.

Mir played the third T20I and two-match ODI series against Bangladesh in Lahore that concluded earlier this month. She led the bowling unit in the first ODI, picking three crucial wickets to take Pakistan home.

The upcoming series against England comprise three ODIs, which are part of the ICC Women’s Championship, and as many T20Is. Pakistan sit fifth on the table with 15 points from as many games.

The 20-probable training camp for the series will commence at the Hanif Mohammad High Performance Centre in Karachi from Thursday (November 21). The team is scheduled to depart for the series on November 30.
