Sarah Glenn, Mady Villiers and Alex Hartley are the latest to be signed by the franchises of The Hundred. Villiers and Glenn, both of whom are included in England's T20 World Cup squad will join Trent Rockets, while, Hartley has been snapped up by Manchester Originals, it was announced on Wednesday (January 22).
The latest round of signings mean that four of the six 'marquee' players - maximum of three contracted England players and a maximum of three overseas players - permitted per side have already been named.
The teams had earlier announced their eight marquee players.
Tash Farrant will turn up for Oval Invincibles, while Marie Kelly and Naomi Dattani, captains of Warwickshire and Middlesex respectively, have been signed by Birmingham Phoenix and London Spirit respectively.
Another major signing is Hollie Armitage of Yorkshire. The promising young batter has been picked up by Oval Invincibles. On the other hand, Southern Brave have acquired the services of Sophia Dunkley and Lauren Bell.
Kathryn Bryce, Scotland's captain, has been picked up by Trent Rockets, while Welsh Fire have signed two local players in Alex Griffiths and Claire Nicholas.
