An unbeaten 111 off 124 balls to take the game to the last ball was not enough. Australia regained the Ashes yet again, and England's fightback after the one-off Test loss went in vain. But, Natalie Sciver-Brunt showed no signs of stopping with the Ashes ODI series trophy in sight. Sciver-Brunt leveled up in the final ODI, scoring 129. This time the century against the Aussies came in a winning cause with England levelling the Ashes and handing Australia back-to-back series defeats in limited overs.
