Match 1: Sutthiruang and Laomi help Thailand for a 6-wicket win
The match got delayed due to the rain and became an 8-over-match. Put to bat first, China scored 32 runs in 8 overs with Zhang Mei scoring 11 while no other batters scored in double digits. S Laomi and Chanida Sutthiruang picked up 6 wickets between them.

Siow Tzin Yee’s unbeaten 42 helped her team accumulate a total of 139 in 20 overs to which Mas Elysa contributed 33. Mariamma Hyder of Kuwait picked up 2 wickets for 21 runs.
Kuwait was knocked out for 78 as Mas Elysa took two wickets in two balls while picking 3 for 9 to claim the player of the match. Malaysia earned two points as they topped the charts to sit above Thailand as Kuwait lost to them by 63 runs.

Match 3: UAE wins to Hong Kong by 21 runs
Chan Ka Man's 2 for 14 restricted UAE to 106 for 8 as Esha Oza was the highest run scorer for her side at 19. Hong Kong couldn’t chase the seemingly small total. UAE had been more successful in recent tournaments and they finished as losing finalists behind Thailand in the last Asian Qualifier but Hong Kong looked for improved performance. UAE got 2 wickets after run out and trapped a leg before from Oza in one over as they were restricted to 85 runs to register their first win by 21 runs.
