BCCI changes inter-state women’s one-day calendar due to lack of umpires

Maharashtra had an easy win over Delhi on the fourth day of the Super League stage of the inter-state Under-23 Twenty20 competition. Delhi Skipper, Laxmi Yadav’s efforts of 63 off 63 balls went in vain as Maharashtra prevailed by 6 wickets. Deciding to bat first, Delhi put 104 in 20 overs as Devika Vaidya’s unbeaten 62 off 53 balls stole the match from them.
Jharkhand’s 93 couldn’t contain Mumbai as they won the match by 6 wickets. After the joint efforts of Raut, Gawade, Bhagat and an unbeaten cameo by Dakshini took Mumbai over the line. Mumbai bowler, Samruddhi Rawool ended with 3 wickets and an economy of 5.25.
In Group A Super League, Baroda put on a total of 106 for 6. Railways, with the help of Deepthi’s 56 off 52 balls chased down the total. At the end of the day, Railways won by 8 wickets.
Having chosen to bat first, Punjab restricted Vidarbha to 94. Bodkhe picked up 2 wickets with the economy of 3.00. Also, Vidarbha skipper Kasat scored 37 off 45, which included 2 fours as it helped them tie Punjab for a super over. Vidarbha scored 14 in the super over and Punjab could only make 3 against Kohale. Thereby, Vidarbha won by one over Super Over.
