The WBBL06 is being played across five venues in Sydney – North Sydney Oval, Hurstville Oval, Sydney Showground Stadium, Drummoyne Oval and the Blacktown International Sportspark. This season has already seen more number of games on live television and this move will only enhance the viewership.
“The move to a full prime time Finals series is another major leap in the evolution of the rebel WBBL,” said Alistair Dobson, Cricket Australia’s Head of Big Bash Leagues.

This announcement is a testament to the outstanding work of our Clubs and the League who have delivered a safe and successful tournament thus far. We thank the NSW Government for recognising this and rewarding our loyal fans in Sydney.”
The games will also see a limited number of spectators, as has been the case so far, with tickets available for purchase from November 16.
