D Vrinda continued her good form in the Senior One Day Tournament with another century against Pondicherry on Monday (November 1). Meanwhile, Yastika Bhatia celebrated her 21st birthday with a magnificent hundred versus Chhattisgarh.

Karnataka extended their winning run as Vrinda scored her second century of the season. With Divya G scoring 54 from 61 balls, Karnataka finished with 298/5 in 50 overs. POndicherry were bundled out for 91 as Ramashweri Gayakwad took three wickets.

Meanwhile, Railways dismissed Uttarakhand for 84, thanks to their clinical bowling performance. Indrani Roy made her debut for Railways with a brisk 28, opening the batting with Punam Raut. They chased the target comfortably by eight wickets.

For Baroda, P A Patel and Yastika scored centuries as they finished with 292 for two in 50 overs. Chhattisgarh were all out for 151 runs, losing by 140 runs. After losing their first game, Tamil Nadu resorted to their senior pros, Niranjana Nagarajan and M D Thirushkamini, to chase 279 against Mumbai. The former scored 80 runs, opening the batting, but Tamil Nadu lost by 43 runs.
